CESC is the Giant Electricity Supplying Company which has been involved in supplying electricity to many places in the city of Mysore, including Mysore Palace, since many years. CESCOM has been established in the area of about 27858 Sqkm, and this electricity supplying company operates in five districts, with the four circles, which includes 15 divisions and 60 sub-divisions. However, the Company has installed certain application to detect Power-Theft, and raid the house immediately; thereby, taking necessary actions such as putting fine, sending the people to the prison, etc.

Procedure for Electricity Bill Payment

Payment should be made within the due date mentioned and full payment should be made; if any customer tries to make electricity bill payment after the due date, or tries to pay a partial amount, the bill will be rejected. Also, while making payment customers will have to first decide whether they want to make payment through ATM machine or mobile banking or via internet banking. Once, the decision is made, they can select the option mentioned accordingly. But, you have to register with the particular Electricity Company, you want to make bill payment, then you can choose any option for payment.

While making payment through ATM, the first step is to select the Main menu – Bill Pay or Prepaid Refill, next select Submenu as Electricity, then choose “Telephone or Mobile” option you want to pay; later check the total bill amount to be paid, enter the amount and submit. Your payment will be made.

Another method to make bill payment is through Mobile Banking. To make bill payment via Mobile Banking, you need to call the local city number, select bill payment method, confirm the amount and submit.

Even, Payment can also be done by the facility of Insurance. If you pay regular Insurance Premium, then you have all the rights to make payment via Internet Banking. You have to log-on to your Online Banking account, choose Bill Payment option, and select Insurance, enter all the details like amount and due date, confirm. Your payment will be made.

You can also try payment through Internet Banking; while making payment via internet banking, you have to log-on to the Net-banking account you have. Next, you have to select Bill Payment option, then the company name which you want to make bill payment too. Later, you have to fill the total amount to be paid, select the due date, and confirm, you will receive a verification code to your mobile after submission, enter the verification code in the text box, and your payment is done.
